 Ceiling a bunny bag 

Almost Christmas time, I want to make something cute to put my tiny things in. So I decided to make a bunny bag, can close up with ears. How can I do that ? 

First, I cut a piece of fabric in the shape I want, and then get a needles with string and start to ceil it to be a bag. Started to ceil around the bag first for the shape and open it the opposite way. Then I started to cut out 2 ears for the bunny.

Ceiling the ear for it about to be stuffed in. I stuffed the ears with cotton and fabrics. Done stuffed 2 ears, I attacked both into the bag by ceiling them in  . Then I get a string that could make the bag closes together. Stick it in the top of the bag and we're done.

I don't have much time to paint. so I draw a cute face for the bag and ta-da, the bunny bag is done. Even though it isn't that pretty because of the fabric, but I tried to finish asap so I could put stuffs in and gift it to my friend. This is the first time I've done ceiling for years. It was fun and exciting, but it hurts my hands if I do it too much long. I will try to ceil more next projects, It was fun to learn about new things in Room 13 

Totoro painting

 In room 13 this week, I spent my time painting cute characters series. First, I painted Totoro from an anime, it was a long time I watched the movie, but it's pretty good and meaningful. I got a square of wood, and I painted the background light orange. Next, I draw out Totoro as in gray and the tummy is white. With 2 cute ears just like bunny. I dabbed it with paintbrush so it looks like fur, fluffy. 

The next day, I draw eyes and details for Totoro. Big eyes, blush, mouth and nose. It turned out super cute and fluffy. This is the first painting acrylic paint I enjoyed. I love drawing and painting cute animals and specialty BUNNY.

Every project I do turned to bunny

In Room 13, this week I continue with my coin bank. First off, I painted the box with a mint cute color. I get a plastic folder and cut it as the size as the front face of the coin bank so I can see each section : 5 cent, 10 cent, 25 cent... I stapled them in to the woods. I love bunny, so I cut the plastic as the ears of a bunny and draw a face to it . I made a plastic cap and cut 3 small holes for the coin to go through.

After that, I started to paint the plastic cap with a white color , included the bunny ears. The bunny ears now can stand up and look so cute. I painted the face for the bunny : eyes, nose, blushy .  The back of the bunny will be black so it wouldn't be dirty when I put it at home. Ta-da, the bunny coin bank is done and I love how it turned out so amazing with Amy and Todd's help. Next week I will think about another project with bunny.

Coin Sorting Machine Bank

 The first week of Term 2 , I was thinking about doing another project with woods. I found on Pinterest a coin sorting bank , can run on gravity. It depends on which coin you put in it will run into the right section.

First, I draw out the measurement of the bank , how big I want it to be. Then, Thot helped me cut the pieces out. I needed 6 pieces and It took a day to cut out. After, I sand the woods to make it smoother. Waw, so beautiful. 

Then, Thot helped me staple the pieces together, and of course I did it, too. It came out perfectly NICE. The picture on the left is what is look like.

Next week, I will finish the coin bank and it will be lit asf. The bank that can divide coin by gravity.

Haunted house at Excel High 2016

Haunted House at excel High School

We are done with setting up the haunted house. I made my headless costume and many people loved it. The room that my friends and I were working on was about Alice in Wonderland. I'm Alice with her head chopped off . We scared many people, it looks horrible and creepy since the ligh of the room was red and black. Teachers, Students from School came to the haunted house a lot. They sceamed super loud and some was jumping out of their place. Broke our mushroom too -.- .
The picture at the right is my headless costume and my face painted. It looks absolutely horrible and realistic since I'm short .

Michaella ( the Cheshire cat ) who runs around with her black outfit and jump at people. Super funny and tiring.
I'm the one who looks at them and walk around the people when they come near the end door . And Says : " Do you want some tea , tea , tea ,teaa.? "
It was fun but also very tired time for us to clean up after all. I enjoyed it tho. !

Black walls

Halloween is coming guys. In room 13, this week, my classmates and I were painting the wall to be  completely black so we can decorate it for the Haunted House. Why we were painting the walls ? Because we want to divide each section room. The weather outside was cold, but it was a fun activity to do. It took us 2 days to finish mostly all the wall, with all the black paint.

However, One of my classmate was so stupid, when he was painting the wall, he made the paint stucks my hands, jacket a lot. He made me so pissed off and I want to smack him in the face. I was upseting about that, so it wasn't fun activity for me actually

Next week, we will put the wall in to their section and it would be so dark and scary for the guests. I hope it work out and no one would be btching about the inflammable materials like last year. We will have a scary Halloween as joining the Haunted House !! I hope !!

Happy Halloween

Headless costume

This week, I was working on my costume for the Haunted House with Erica at Room 13 Excel high. First, we grabbed a lot of new papers ( stolen from lobby ) as the coat with regular tape, taped me with new papers like making a shirt. You can check the first picture to see what we went through. It felt weird and funny because this is the first time we did something like this .

After been taping around like a shirt with duct tape, we cut it open and tape it back with duct tape again. It was easy and fun to do, we make it look like a headless half body. Put a lot of new papers in it so it can sit up my head and back. 
We are not finish it yet , but pretty far it looks good and cool. We need to make arms , so it would look like it holding my head . We also need to make paper mache and stuck it around the duct tape so the body would be harder and hard to far when it be on my head. We would need to give it a shirt after finishing it and bloody around so it looks more scary . But so far it been so good. To be continue with this project.

Bunny box

My portfolio 

In room 13, I enjoyed working with woods, painting and art. Building things from woods are not the right one for girls or someone like me, it's a heavy job , I thought. Amy is an instructor, who helped me get ideals of making things out of woods. First of, I searched online and saw a wood standing for Phone and look like a box. Hence, I sketched it out piece by piece and with my own measurement. With 8 pieces of woods and different sizes . After that, Amy helped me cut them all out by saws and started to sand the pieces of wood I had. The sanding made my hands so hurt but I think it's worth it. Glued them all together and I realized I messed up on the measurement. It made my box look so ugly and not equal to each other sides. Not giving up on that, I tried to fill the unequal parts with dry sparkling and sand it after. BOMB! I got it as shown in the first image. I cut out the ears for the designs as a bunny box and glued them.

Now, it's ready to paint. I mixed a blue color and white to make a baby blue color, which is super cute on this box. Waited about a day for it to dry then I sketched out a bow, a bunny face, legs and ears. Ready to design for a bunny face on my box. This is the result, everyone told me it's cute and they love it. The result surprised me!!! I can't believe that I made a cute box with creativity and hard works . 

I love it and really enjoy making things out of woods now.This is my first project I did in room 13 and it's exceed my expectation, so I believe nothing can be done with confidence and hard work. Thank you for reading .!!
